I spend enough time abusing my eyeballs at work with perpetual Excel spreadsheets and doctor’s notes to mess with e-readers. Not to mention the occasional creeping on tumblr and Blogger. I’d much prefer the ability to leaf through the pages of a book over a quick swipe of my finger over a LCD screen. I have acquired a habit of highlighting my favorite quotes and excerpts. I actually enjoy the aroma of aged texts with their grassy notes and a tinge of musk. Do you remember the feeling of the crisp pages of a new book and the fresh scent of ink and paper? Take a break from technology once in a while and read a real book.
Tomorrow is John and I’s anniversary. I bought him something that will stimulate his mind and bring him back to his roots…and it sure set me back a pretty penny. Why is knowledge so expensive?!? Can’t say what it is ‘cus he might be reading this blog.
I have neglected this tumblr account for way too long now. Have only been using it to stay on top of a few blogs that I enjoy reading and creeping. I’ve been posting on a regular basis for my couple’s blogger instead. Plus I’ve been crazy busy with work and other shiz. Well let’s stop with the apologies and get back to blogging on tumblr.

I am very angry with you for the following:
1. Your inability to have my tv subscriptions available for download on the day they are aired. I am always behind a day because of this. Often resulting in plot spoilers from co-workers and friends.
2. Your limited library of movies. I am incredibly disappointed that I couldn’t download “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar” last night.
